These Terms of Use & Disclaimer (“Terms”) govern your use of the AI DAO Example hosted at https://verifiable-ai-dao.vercel.app/ and https://b1c8a406efb33eae5ba976cf1160f52e71713496-3000.dstack-prod4.phala.network (the “Site” or “application”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully as they are a binding legal agreement between you [“You” or “Your”] and Proximity Labs (“Proximity”, the “Company”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) that governs your access to and use of the Site.

1. Purpose & Scope

This application is an educational demo that combines:

• A frontend hosted by Proximity Labs;
• A testnet smart contract deployed solely for demonstration purposes; and
• A Shade Agent running on Phala Cloud that uses the NEAR AI API to generate automated responses.

It is not a real DAO, not a production system, and not connected to real assets.

2. Educational Use Only

• The Site exists to show how a frontend, smart contract, and AI agent can interact.
• All proposals and AI responses are simulated. They have no effect outside this demo.
• Nothing here should be relied on for financial, legal, or governance decisions.

3. Public & Permanent Content

• Everything you submit (proposals, text, etc.) is public and stored on a blockchain testnet.
• Submissions cannot be removed or edited once published.
• Do not include:
  • Personal information (names, addresses, account numbers, government IDs),
  • Financial or payment details (credit cards, bank accounts, private keys, seed phrases),
  • Confidential, proprietary, or nonpublic information.

4. Privacy & Data

This application does not intentionally collect or process personal data. All proposals and responses are stored on a public blockchain testnet and are permanently visible. Please do not submit any personal, financial, or confidential information. If you do, it may become publicly accessible, and we cannot remove or modify it. We do not track users beyond basic, anonymized technical logs required to operate the frontend. This project is educational only and not intended for commercial use.
